London Life Part Two

 Hi all,

I have next to no spare time on my hands anymore hence the no social media and no blog posting apologies xxx

Now on my third week in London, I love it 90 per cent of the time but it does get really hard sometimes going back to a lonely hotel room when you have had a really difficult day. Me and my colleagues have a catch up after work and sometimes a drink but normally we are all that exhausted its showers and bed. I am really enjoying the job, I have met so many great people, and the old Londoners we are looking after have the most amazing stories which makes the day enjoyable. There is no inbetween with work, one days absolute shit everyones arguing buzzers going 24/7 and no time for breaks, some days its great get to spend time with patients and give them the love and care they deserve and that is what makes me stay and what has kept me in care for the last four years ( I keep trying to bloody escape lol).

I literally LOVE being in London though in general, I love the view of Canary Wharf when I have a ciggy, and that I can get literally any food delivered to my hotel room in about 30 minutes. In Wisbech if you want a scran delivered you have the choice of 3 or 4 kebabys in the evening and a few chineses and they will be delivered about 2 hours after youv'e ordered. Unless it's Toppings, Zafar always delivers he is the main man always x

Had a brilliant day at work today, we had a sick team on our ward, everything went as smooth as could be, got a pair of crocs to ( result can't wait to wear them bad boys ). Now for two days off! It's my first weekend staying in London and I am not entirely sure what I am going to get up to, but it's me and I always manage to get up to something....

Spending tonight sat in bed looking through my options on what to do next. I have been unable to decide since i left uni WTF I want to do with my life. In an ideal world I would just move to Berlin for the rest of my days and go to Techno raves every night but hey ho. On another note as soon as this dog shit is over I am going to whatever big Techno event happens in Germany first I have never been as happy as when we went Connect lord what a night what a holiday with my faves x. Back to the options anyway, I really want to be a nurse I literally love looking after people and have loved all the stuff I have learned at the hospital, and theres so many options once your qualified but the pay is just shit only thing that puts me off, but I guess you have to think about job satisfaction, happiness over money always. I have a masters place deferred for September for International Relations my other option and have applied for nursing so we shall see, unless I land a cracking job before then I need to force myself back to uni lol.

Was so poorly at the weekend, my asthma is usually really regulated and under control, I rarely struggle with it unless it is self inflicted or I have a chest infection however the weekend I was so out of breath I thought I was about to drop. It aint easy being wheezy. Covered in red raw rash head to toe also, feeling a bit shit still but rocking on....

Tomorrow I have a busy day although it is my day off, I need to go to a laundrette and wash and dry some clothes (yayyyyyy), find a savers, do a little food shop, do my expenses, sort some bills, eurgh you get the gist. Hoping I have time to go to Pirate Studios tomorrow evening for a jam but we will see. In need of a solo session after this week of stress.

Missing you all dearly and I look forward to seeing everyone soon. Big love to all my friends and family who message as it gets bloody lonely living in a hotel.

peace and love riri xxxx
